What you'll do
TOUCHDOWN! Get ready to learn the fundamentals of flag football in a fun, active, and supportive environment! Our instructional program helps young athletes develop key football skills like throwing, catching, running routes, flag pulling, agility, and teamwork. With a perfect blend of individual skill development, team-building activities, and exciting scrimmages, each day is packed with opportunities to build confidence, make friends, and have a blast on the field. Whether your child is new to the game or looking to sharpen their skills, this program is designed to keep them engaged, active, and excited to play! 🏈
You will not be contacted by a coach before the program, and should show up the first day at your registered time, ready to play!
🤸♀️Ages: 5-7 years old
📍Location: Chapman Park, adjacent to the Dorothy F. Johnson (DFJ) Center at 775 East 16th St.
💰Fee: $71 for 6-week program
🏈 Equipment: All necessary equipment is provided for the program. Participants should arrive in athletic clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes, and bring plenty of water.
⛅Weather: Programs canceled due to rain, heat, or air quality will be rescheduled for up to one week at the season's end or credited to your account. All updates will be posted at least one hour before the program starts at: www.chicorec.gov/fields
