What you'll do
Please note each session will last 75 minutes.
The beginner skills pickleball class is designed for individuals who are just starting to play the game. The class will cover the fundamental techniques that will get a player comfortable playing matches. The class will use targeted drills and practice match play to implement new skills.
Who this Class is for
- Players looking to establish a strong foundation in the basics of pickleball
- Players with limited previous racket sports experience
Class Logistics
- Each session will be split between drills to learn new skills and then match play to implement those skills.
- Balls will be provided. Please bring your own paddle.
Pricing
- $85 for residents
- $100 for non-residents
If enrollment in the class is too low, we may unfortunately need to cancel and find a new time that works for more students. Any students who enrolled will be fully refunded.
If a session is cancelled due to weather we will find a time to reschedule.

Instructor
Hey, I'm Sean and hopefully I'll be your pickleball instructor! I have a long background in coaching and developing athletes of all levels. I'm an ex-competitive tennis player and now a pickleball fanatic with a current 5.0+ Dupr rating. I look forward to sharing my love for the sport and passion for teaching with others in the Santa Cruz Community. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, let's connect and improve your game!
