What Does Rec Do?
Rec enables you (“Rec Users”) to find, book and attend a wide range of fitness, recreational and wellness classes, services, or products offered and operated by parks, gyms, venues or other third parties through our platform (“Partners”). Through the Rec platforms, Rec Users seeking athletic coaching, workshops or classes can be matched with athletic coaches (“Coaches”).What Personal Information Does Rec Collect?
We gather various types of Personal Information from our Rec Users and we use this Personal Information in connection with providing our Services, including the ability to personalize, provide and improve our Services, create your user account and profile, to contact you, to allow other users, Partners or Instructors to contact you, to fulfill your requests for our Services and to analyze how you use the Services. “Personal Information” means any information that identifies or relates to a particular individual and also includes information referred to as “personally identifiable information” or “personal information” under applicable data privacy laws, rules or regulations. - User-Generated Content. You can choose to add further information to your account, such as birthdate, gender or a profile picture.
- Third-Party Data. If you are a Rec User, you should not provide information to us about someone else unless you have obtained the prior consent of the other person for us to receive and use their information.
